Loving live music, David was thrilled to get to see the Baldknobbers performance. None of us were disappointed. It was a show beyond my expectations.
The Baldknobbers Show is one of the oldest in Branson. It is mostly different types of country music with other music like Somewhere Over The Rainbow weaved in. The show is also broken up by short comedy skits.
The show began in 1959 and skyrocketed from there. The Mabe family has been a feature in the show since the beginning. Now, the Mabe family is in its third generation of performers taking the stage in Branson.
With at least 10 singers and musicians adding their talent to the show, it is an impressive display to say the least. It was nonstop entertaining from beginning to end. The performers made their way through the crowd from time to time to interact with fans. David was thrilled to high five one of the singers. Now he’s always putting on his cowboy boots and doing a “Baldknobbers” show for us at home.
The show was completely family friendly. Performer’s costumes were beautiful and modest. Comedy topics were clean and the music was clean country and gospel songs. Behind us a family of three generations ranging from grandma to 4 year old grandson enjoyed the show together.
The new theatre is located at 645 MO-165. It’s just down the road from St. James Winery and Restaurant which is a perfect place to begin your night out.
